What ec should my soaking solution be for freshly rooted cuttings? My tapwater ec is at 650 so how much nutrients do I have to add?
I read something about 800ec so i have to add 800 in nutrients or only 150?

thanks

Is your ec in micro-siemens or milli?
My well water usually runs about 50 u-siemens, so there really isn't anything in it.
I grow in both coco and RDWC, and use 1" gro-cubes to make clones.
I grow with Jacks 3-2-1 @ 1.6mS and soak the cubes in this solution.
Cutting gets some rooting powder and a dunk in a bit of honey and straight into the cube.
They sit in a cloning tray with a dome and a heat mat in my mother tent.
I usually get roots popping in about a week.

Sorry I meant what ec are you running in your coco when you put your rooted clone in your coco (in my case grodan hugo blocks). My cuttings are already rooted.

Why are there so many different scales for ec? It's so confusing.

Thanks for your answer

Milli and micro units are 1/1000th and 1/1000000, respectively.
I use the same ec feed from seedling to flower-1.6mS
1.6mS=1600uS

Including my base ec? So should i run 1.0 nutes + 0.6 tap water or 2.2 (1.6 nutes + 0.6 tap water)
I would suggest finding out what is making up the dissolved solids in your tap water.
Then you can make any adjustments if needed.
