Ebb & Flow Table Info Needed

My table is almost complete, but I am worried that my submersible pump may be too strong. My tray size is 4ft x 2ft, and I have a 660 GPH pump, with a 2ft climb between the pump and the tray. Is water going to shoot out like a fire hydrant?

try it and find out =)

If it does shoot out, just increase the diameter of the hose and the hole in the table and that should straighten things out, you can also just put a metal can ( Old soup can) on the end of the fill tube and the water pressure will raise the can, but won't let it shoot out all over.

Hey Aaron, what brand and setup did you go with? I am going to be the same size setup with a 600W HPS. Any help and what it cost would help.
