but hey lets answer your ? with some more ?'s about what system is best.. like,

how much space do you have to work with?
how many plants do you want to grow?
and how much yeild do you want?

i have tried many different methods and what it comes down to for me is if you want to grow lots of little plants then flood and drain tables are best and if you want large plants then dwc or aeroponics works best.. but that is just my oppinion like i said b4 there are so many good systems to choose from..

another ? to ask yourself is how much time do you want to put into this?

ive got the time , ive got the space ect i dunno bout yield the more the better i suppose , yeah i was gonna just buy a system found some cheap ones but as for making 1 im not sure where to start lol , i was thinking about buying a nft tale a flood and drain gully system and maybe an aeroponics system , om buying all the equipment in about 8-9weeks so ive got plenty time to take in all the info before i start, also quik ? is the dwc system where theres a root chamber ? not quite sure wich is wich lol , im also gonna be doing about 20plants i think maybe a few less or more buddy

i hope u can see the pics right, but it can give u the idea to how it works,,
the yellow hose(pic 1) comes from the pump, and there is a plug at the end of the hose.(almost the length of the tray) then just add connectors to the hose, from there connect the smaller hose to make a drip ring useing a t connector(pic 2).
the water will run through the medium (i use hydroton) into the tray and bck to the res. the tray is a bottom from a rabbit cage, were i made a hole and put a drain in it(pic 2),between the tray and res i made a filter out of some filter mats for aquerium pumps.
the system can easly be extended by just putting more connectors in the main hose line, and or upgrade pump(i use a ehiem 600ltr/h)..
a very simple system and theres no moving parts, and if the pump fails, the plants can easly be maintained for a few days by hand watering, til the pump is replaced..
in the res i use a aquerium heater..
pls keep in mind that these pics r from my old system(first try on scrog and hydro)
the new system will be with a tray that is 100cm x 110cm and can hold 12 11ltr pots, useing the same pump and changing the hoses, which will go into a home made gro tent 120x120x140cm, but the basics of the system r the same..
ill pop some more pics if u like, batt in camra need recharging..

i hope u can use this for something or give u some ideas..
and sry for the bad spelling, havent writin this much english in a long time...:bigjoint:
