EB series Gen2 5000K

Hey guys, I have a light I've already built but I'm going to add onto it and expand it some. Currently I have 9 x the EB series G2 strips but at 3500K and I was thinking of adding some blue. The light is for flowering but I'm wondering if a little blue might help for a fuller spectrum. Have any of you used the 5000K version? I'm going to add on 5 more strips ..so what do ya think a few of the 5000K strips or five more of the 3500K?

BXEB-L0560Z-50E2000-C-B3 ..is the ones I'm lookin at.

Also, if anyone has done this before is it easy to get the wires out of the pushin connectors, I used I believe 20 AWG solid core wire. I'd rather ask to see if anyone has any tricks instead of breaking shit.

added 660 nm diodes of deep red as supplement would be better. plus uv

I've looked for stips with 660nm like the strips we're using and can't find them, same for the UV. I wished somebody made strips of deep red and uv mixed for a decent price.

Added blue will make the plants tighter and more compact. Not always a good thing. 3500k is pretty much ideal but unless you're growing very stretchy plants, I wouldnt add more.

Cutter electronics will make what ever combination you want. Instead of going for blue maybe go for 420nm or 430nm to broaden the spectrum, some 660nms and 730 are useful too

I am just increasing the overall size of the light and thought some extra blue might help. I originally thought about adding the 3000K. I guess the general consensus is the 3500K is the best for these strips?

3500k is a good base, adding mono colours you can change it how you want. You do not need alot of mono leds to change the colour

I've found some 660nm strips at cutter..thanks teknik. I'm thinking of building a new frame as mine is kinda ghetto...question is I used thermal tape to stick the strips to aluminum bar and wondering if I could just take a razor blade and run it along the underside of the stip to remove it and then without using any solvent just put a strip of tape back on it when affixing it to the new frame? I've got to figure out how to get the wire out of those push in connector and tape off without harming the strip.

If you heat the lights up for a while and get a brand new razor you should be able to gently get it off
