Eazy Pyramid Mini Grow - DIY Automatic watering system

After having great success with my first Eazy Pyramid Mini, I decided to start a new grow with nine pyramids.

Giving the pyramid a thorough watering required pouring several liters through it from one bucket to another. I thought... there must be an easier way.

This was my Pink Kush in my first grow:


After some planning and several experiments with a few pumps...my auto watering system was born

3 x Devils Cream, 3 x Bloody Skunk, 3 x Red Pure CBD. Its all about the colors this time around.

I respect the ingenuity of your watering system. The pyramids are small though. You should give them a coat of panda film to keep the algae off.

Thank you. I use H202 in the rez so its never really a serious issue. The air pruning effect is hindered by the covering. The more the pyramid "breathes" the faster the plant creates more fine roots. If the algae gets out of a hand though, I shall surly do that thank you.

The watering is going well and the plants are thriving.
15 days old.
The flow over the pyramids is sufficient enough to cover all the corners yet gentle enough as to not apply force against the main stem.
The pumps dump the entire 30 liters in 15 seconds. It takes 6 mins for a complete drain back to the rez.

20 Days

Had a small deficiency on one of the Devils Cream's but seemed to recover nicely. PH and CalMag was slightly off point for a day or two while they were seedlings. I decided to leave the lower spotted leaves on for now though as they are cannibalizing them.

One of the Bloody Skunks was not performing so I discarded it and planted a fresh seed. Its only 2 weeks behind and doing well, so no biggy. DLI moved up from 20 to 30. GH at 600PPM and letting PH drift from 6.2 down to 5.9 and then up again. Will look at some LST in the next week or so. Gave them their first dose of Harpinαβ Protein and they responded well. Will start pulsing the UVA and UVB once tiny flowers start to pop. Will receive my Phytostim Terpene Booster amino acid foliar spray today so will give that a try this time around.

So far so good, fingers crossed. Looking forward to seeing the sea of red buds in the tent.
