That's the problem with baking most people try too big a piece and scare themselves shitless and never want to do it again. I just start with one than 2 hours later have another if it gets too much lots of fruit juice and a nap, makes it all good ..

You might get a buzz by eating it but, no where as when you heat it in oi, the oil sucks up the good stuff so your gut can break it down easier.

either clean a bong out and then fill it with clean water & ice, and smoke that shit til you get a brainfreeze-like feeling
OR
you can do what you're talking about, but bake it tucked inside the peanut butter for 20 mins @ about 300 degrees. the internal temp will not be 300 obviously, but it will get warm enough to activate the THC and bond with the fat in the peanut butter by the time you consume.

i saw an episode of locked up abroad where this chick was going to help some dude smuggle hash in her belly. they rolled it in balls and wrapped it in plastic and swallowed it. it was wrapped very well but long story short chick got WAY stoned going through customs a couple hours later. turns out they were wrapping the hash with their hash encrusted hands and there was hash on the outside of the wrapped things. no way of knowing how much but it couldn't have been huge chunks and smears or they would have noticed when they were swallowing. i'm pretty sure you can get fucked up from just plain old eating it i just don't know how to dose that to "hallucinate" but the chick on the show sure did.

A couple months ago I was sick with the flu so smoking was not the greatest way for me to take my meds. I had about 7 grams of really amazing full melt my friend and I had made outta some real crystally trim in bubblebags. Now, I wasn't sure the effects of cooking with hash as opposed to actual buds, so I made the mistake of putting all 7 grams of the full melt into a pan of 1 stick of butter and simmering it real low for about an hour. I ingested the butter by stir frying some vegetables with it. After a good hour, I stood up and it hit me like a TON OF BRICKS. This was literally on par with a bad mushroom trip. Most of the night is blurry or blank to me now. Moral of the story: don't eat 7 grams of hash.

Butane, and isopropyl alcohol dissolves and leaves ONLY the hash.
392F is way to high. You want to cook it around 330F. I wouldn't exceed 350F.
And yes, you can eat hash.

I think by overdose he is meaning consuming more than is needed to achieve desired effects... Of course you cant eat enough to kill you but a lot of people have freaked out on potent eddibles, and I belive that is what he is trying to avoid... also, eating it straight might get you baked if the dose is high enough but it is wasteful! If you cook 1/4 gram of good hash in butter it will make 2-4 cookies instead of one and still be more effective than just munching a hash ball! Dont eat it straight! Cook with it or smoke that shit! Eating it straight is wastefull!

I never said no one hadnt off a blunt... It just happens a lot on eddibles because people have a harder time judging their dose when eating it... and blunts are gross anyways and usually filled with low grade herb
