No microscope, I'm just going with it works from other people's builds. The recipe is what would affect the microherd I would think.

There's always gonna be fluctuations in the recipe ingredients, whether by your own hand, someone else's, or Mother Nature...
I don't think a microscope is specifically NECESSARY, but very interesting.
