from what i understand about jersey it's not going to be as available as the west coast, and everything is going to be government run. and if i'm not mistaken government grown. 6 dispensaries in the state . 2 north 2 central 2 south. and it will only be allowed for debilitating diseases and terminal illness. I could be wrong about this. and i hope i am. because if i am i'm hitting the bridgeNew Jersey just passed, goes in effect in 6 months
Great advice for those of us who are resisting the hype about the green rush over there... I think alot of us think we can just move to CA, CO, or OR and start making money off crops. Of course i wish this could be true but I'm sure there's plenty of competition, and plenty of red tape to go through to get to that point. I think the one benefit of living in a legal mmj state is that you can grow, discuss, and co-op your own without having to be silent. not to mention the money you save just from producing your own as opposed to buying it. I'm getting a bit tired of staying silent about something im so fascinated and proud of. It blows my mind that in my 15 yrs of smoking i had never seen a plant in action until i did it myself. Seems unfair to any smoker.Cali, despite the favorable MMJ laws, is imploding economically. Not a place to go right now, unless you have a great prospect already lined up to deal with the massive taxes and unemployment there.
let's hope prices fall, everywhere for that matter. I think alot of us, even in mmj states are paying far too much. I recall being in Cali in 2001 i payed the same prices for the same flavors as i would in the east..this was a while ago. and if i recall we had to venture to a somewhat seedy neighborhood to pick-up. but obviously that's all in the past hopefully for those who live and breathe there can access their medicine legal or illegally with more ease. can you tell i don't know how anything works out west.Where weed will end up is still an open question. Prices will only fall, and like most popular legal commodities, volume will go through the roof, which always drives down prices and competition.
Basically the east coast is more conservative than the west coast. And the middle of the country thinks both coasts are crazy.![]()
Ahhh, the word on that is that every state has a governor, but the power of each governor varies greatly. The governor of California is not all that powerful and is hamstrung by the legislature. And we all know that the legislature is hard left and spends way over what they take in.
Ahnold was like Bambi in that first term...... he found out that all his campaign ideas sounded great, but couldn't be implemented without BIG BIG compromises.
