Earth with no added soil???

The forest ground has lots of vegetation growing from it and is surounded by farm land... could I just plant directly into the earth without adding my own potting soil??

yes, ur plants will just lack some nutrients, but they will still grow.

Of course there would be a difference if you added nutes.

you get what you put into it, w/a big ass hole w/fishguts and high quality soil and good location you could get a lb a plant or more.......
