Hey is anyone else out there using an earth box? or has used one before?
Im just wondering if I can mix my water soluble nutrients and add it to the resovior, instead of applying it to the soil as they reccomend. Also how long does the resovoir last for?

Thanks everyone = )

Much love growers <3

no, an earthbox is this grow setup type thing. Check out my Purple and White widow grow journal in my sig, for a picture of it. It just recently got invented, and tomatoe growers rave that it works amazing. My mom grows tomatoes in it, and she said she has never grown them so fast or big.

seems to work good with cannabis as well

NO! do NOT use soluble fertilizer. the earthbox is designed for dry fertilizer only. the reservoir is really only meant to keep the roots from drying out. don't use the fertilizer kits and potting mixes they sell, though, they cost way too much. get it from lowe's or home depot.

Are you sure??? becuase I talked to a very nice and knowledgable lady at a hydro store couple days ago, and she said you can.

She said they tell you not to, but it works fine.

i'm sure. let's just say, i have a great deal of experience with earthboxes. many people think it's okay to add soluble fert. to the resevoir, but you have to remember, the roots will only absorb as much water as needed. if the water sits too long with the fert in it, it'll go sour. at best, you'll get stinked out; at worst, you'll kill your plants. trust me, use granular fertilizer.
