This is my pink diesel x amnesia FEMINIZED It's going on 3 weeks vegetation and now these little balls are showing up, what looks to be pollen sacks? Is this even possible with a female seed, And so early on? What should I do... Is it going to pollinate my autos?20160917_131822.jpg

Y'all ever ate the weed trimmings? It would make for a great salad, my buddy makes hash brownies with just the leaves by heating them up in coconut oil and extracting the trace amounts of THC then cooking in the brownies with the oil so busting what a great idea... Don't waste your leaves y'all!

Ohh nvm y'all just found this for future references there are stipules on all plants... Didn't know this but what those little sacs are are calyx or the buds... Just preflowers! Wow what a relief... But damn I've already topped so now its going to be a little bush might have to flower with my autos!

A good stem rub can reveal a couple things. First, the scent will generally give you a good idea of what you're working with. Second, if one of these pops out at you while rubbing the stem, "She" is really a "He".

I'd keep an eye on that plant. That looks like the start of a little banana cluster to me, although it is still a bit early to be for sure.

I'm right 9/10 times on average when I pick through my new genetics. That one I would watch closely and most likely end up scrapping. If it is a female with pollen sacks its offspring would be as well, so not even worth a seed run.

...Not to be Debbie downer or anything... Nature's a fickle whore :bigjoint:

if you use that to make some auto seeds

yeah they`ll be autos 50% of them anyway normally you find most will sex and flower up to around 18/20 hours and some will lose the ability to flower fast under 24/0 but normally breeding an auto with a reg will mean you get bigger autos unless its a dwarf indica you breed them with, lol

I had a little mixup as seedlings they all doing over in a rainstorm so I'm not sure which is which I know the ones pink diesel because the stems were pink, auto blue broke her neck on the fall! RIP. But the problem is I can't identify the auto critical and the chronic lights fem, so I can know what dose of nutes to given.. Im thinking the shorter more compact one that already has a stinch is the auto.20160917_161834.jpg 20160917_161840.jpg Also this is a little cluster of balls under where I toped pink diesel

if your not sure

I may surgest that the male was your auto, I can`t see why a Photo plant would sex so early and an auto not

pink stems are probably due to it flowering its probably after more potassium

So I`d bet the taller one is your pink diesel as it looks a touch more sativa but you won`t know till you flower

the pink diesel would smell and flower different, auto critical and cronic lights should both flower up like a classic indica dom where as diesel should show more sativa

I might be wrong but I`d bet that male is your Auto, I`d make me some auto critical pinky diesel, seeds, lol

Okay thanks for the info dude but there's no way its the auto because when they fell the only two that already broke soil was the auto blue and pink amnesia, blue didn't survive unfortunately :'( but I got auto assassin for a replacement should be nice! I'm leaving the diesel out tonight for a lights out to bring out the sex... Hopefully its a false alarm I'd suck to be a male, the reason its flowering so early may be because I added a half tsp of bloom with the grow big...?

Best way to detect early males is to smell them it takes a little while to get the technique down but well worth the effort you'll be able to start sexing at 3 weeks with no change in light cycle. Rub your fingers on the main stem of a male then do the same with a female. The female has a "sweeter" smell the male is more musky

In all seriousness, "Males" tend to have a "stickier" stem relative to a female. Read that "umpteen" years ago, could be "bogus". Scent will give you an idea of the genetics (to an extent) and sometimes even an inkling to the final product.

The "nuts"/bananas are a dead giveaway. The only "full on" male I've encountered had fully developed bananas and smal white flowers on day 4 of flowering (4 days from light "flip").
