Early root damage

Had a complete brain fart this morning while doing a nute change out in one of the dwc bubble buckets I'm mucking about with in my misdemeanor tent. I was checking the root growth on a two week old auto and lifted the net pot lid a bit more quickly than I should have. The beautiful long root had nicely wrapped itself around an airline and when my dumb ass lifted it, snap goes the root. Now there still appears to be a good deal of root left above what got snapped off but more root was removed than remains.

Is it worth bothering to keep it? Potential stress issues (hermie?) down the line? To early to really matter? So far I'm not seeing obvious signs of problems like drooping or color changes but its only been maybe 24 hours. Thought I'd throw it to the experts here.
