Doesn't seem like much but had they completley filled out they couldve added up. Also pulled off some popcorn buds that were rotted aswell, no big deal. Just hope it doesnt spread, rest of the plant looks solid. Harvest in 3-4 weeks

Looking good shitty tho with the rot and broken branch
I too am going thru the same this. Last few years a grew a few just for personal .. but this year I could only get my hands on the one clone in the spring( I work away a lot,so it was hard to get home in time).
I named her Loretta. She too got a little bigger than I expected ( no complaints now tho mind u )
.In the spring I built a trellis around where I thought she would fill out to. added a wire mesh 4 feet up to support the tops when the budding starts. (so I thought) . She outgrew that long ago..and now the mesh is used to support her branches halfway down)
I Also got a spell of PM on her too ( I tried the milk mixture..and knock on wood..its been working so far.. not iraddicating but controlling it.)
I went to look at those carports etc..but like you..realize it wouldnt fit properly over the plant now( shoulda done in spring)
So I had no choice but to build
. She even outgrew that before I could plastic it in ..So I had to tear down and " raise the roof"
..and shes still going.
I framed it in and now gonna wait ill it gets a little cooler before adding the vap barrier.

Shes coming along great and I too am hoping for a lb. I been using organic ( I have goats chickens and a great compost pile) . I was hoping to keep her low to the ground, but didnt realize it was a sativa I was given(green crack apprtly) and they like to stretch.I topped her a few times to try to keep her low..but she refused so I gave up and let her go.. she developed quite the stalk .

I hope in Oct I will be as heavy on top as you are..so far I am only half way thru because of late planting but shes coming along .

Congrats to you and good luk the rest of the way . Looking forward to seeing your final tally
CP.
Ps.. sorry for the long post didnt mean to "hijack" ;)

Thank you for the post, very fun to read. Seems like our plants went through a very similar season. Yours is much larger and bushier, youll pull a pound easy, maybe two. The carports seem like a great idea but at this point it is too late, and i don't have room for it at my current location. Main problem with the sativa genetics in both of our strains is the flower time. Not entirely sure if shell finish by second week of october, but we shall see! new pics coming tomorrow.

So half the crop is lost to mold. Have a garbage bag filled with empty buds. Such a shitty end to an otherwise great season. Even some of the smaller plants have slight mold but i cut them off. Here's how they look currently. Probably a half pound of bud gone. Only 3 oz wet salvageable, well see what makes it to the end of the season.

let me just say i love how the plants are looking! you might want to get in there and clip off some of those yellowing fan leaves let some air get between those buds. I'm having the same problem, about 3 zips of my great white shark and white rhino GONE due to bud rot. Not to mention the other zip i lost from fucking mildew. I feel your pain man, mother nature can be a bitch! keep us updated i would love to see how it turns out for you!

On the fence about the fan leaves, not sure if the plant is still feeding off them or i should pull them.

I'm guessing more than that. Not from experience, just eyeballing it. Every tip of every branch has a few inches of cola, the top branches have like 9" or so. It's going to be a lot regardless. I got my little microscope yesterday. My first-to-bloom is mostly cloudy now, but not all the way. It's colas are like 3" in diameter and like ten inches long. It's one of the plants that split, so it has a lot of "top surfaces"... and a LOT of big thick buds. Looking forward to harvesting.

shit man sorry to hear bout ur loss.
I was away a bit.. It's getting a lot colder here at nights. .
I'm glad I built that frame a few weeks back..got a roof on it last weeknd and finally got it wrapped just in time .
. went down to almost freezing last few nights.
But its been maintaining a pretty constant temp inside the greenhouse
( no moisture buildup ..yet )
I'm praying it'll only take a few more weeks with this girll.. she's hairy as hell and nice and shiny... just a matter of fattening up now
.
As for the fan leaves.. I tried both methods the last 2 years.. and found that it really dont make that much of a difference IF you are feeding it all its nutrients anyways..and I'd rather chance it and have better air movement and a little less quantity, than a batch of worthless...
I pulle 70 % fan leaves off Lorretta last week.. but I think the bud leaves just grew a little faster and took over the process... didnt notice a difference in her.. other than I could see thru her branches now,and at this point...I'm not interested on more more more.. I just want whats on her to hurry the F*k up and finish ;)
Hope you fare out better
