Hang up to dry for around 5 days... check every day and when they start to get crispy on the outside, seal them in jars. Open the jars every day and move the buds around and then reseal. This will help distribute the moisture content from the middle of the bud to the drier outside of the bud.

I don't claim this to be the best way, but this is what I'm doing and fairly common practice.

your second pic shows me that you on the right track, just let them sit dark and dry with no direct air on them, you don't want them to be too dry after that or you get just dust and can't cure them anymore.

cut some holes into that box so that air can move, close it, place it into a dry closet and put a little fan into the closet set on low so that the air is kept from stalling and you will get there some perfect buds.

have a look into air-curing to finish them;)
