Dyna Gro first grow

Should i drop my Grow nutes and up my bloom nutes??
If they're green and healthy right now, do so in small increments. Switching to 100% bloom when your plants are requiring more N means premature leaf-drop and since leaves drive production, you'll be hurting your yields.

My plants have some yellowing and browningwhere its crinkling, and leaf burn on the tips, but the majority are green. At what point in flowering should i stop the gro nute? or do u usually go all the way with it at 1.0 ml? do i keep giving the protekt all the way through flowering? do i need to add any other nutes besides bloom, protekt, gro during flowering??

Can someone help me with dialing in these Dyna nutes? I just added 3.5 Bloom, 3.0 Protekt, 1.0 Ml of grow last night. The top leaves around my colas are turning brown pale yellow and crinkling?? My clones are in pro-mix HP and are about 5 weeks old, its a 9 week strain, buds are small and dont look that great. im not bashing these nutes, i just want to try to get them dialed in because i know they have a lot potential.

You have the mineral salts to grow excellent plants and if you're not getting healthy growth then something is wrong. What is your environment like? How close are your lights? Do you have healthy roots? Is your medium in good shape? There are SOOOOOOO many factors that need to be in place before one can start looking to specific plant foods for better growth. Example: I was away for work for the last ten days or so and a good friend of mine was watching things while I was gone. He does a good job but I just came back to find one of my promix girls dead. How the f*ck does one kill a plant? He was even using gallons of water that I mixed up for him which was RO water and DG plant food. While my hydro ladies are great, he needs to dial in that sixth sense that it takes to read plants in the dirt. I have a feeling that's something you may need to do as well.

If your in soil do as the bottle says. Thats what works for me. no problems with plants except for the occasional attack of the mites. I use 2.5 ml of protect and mag pro and 5 ml of grow every water. Never had any issues at all. Im actually thinking that they could use more N so Im looking to see if anyone used the Hi N Pro yet.

Everyone says something different in here. I'm just as confused as ever, lol... I've cloned on a commercial scale for years but this is my first time flowering. I'm in Promix and going with Dyna Gro after reading all of homebrewer's threads. My ppm's are way to high (just under 400 from the tap).so I definitely need to decide on what RO filtration system to get. I guess roughly 4ml's/gal of Protekt and Grow along with Magpro once I have the RO on maybe a water/water/feed schedule? I'm lost....

Lots of good information on this thread. Thanks to everyone for posting. I have always been skeptical of fertilizers that use a lot of pretty colors and fancy names, but it seemed everyone raves about them, so I bought a few things. Now that I've found out more about Dyna-gro, I think I will switch to it instead. I like to keep things simple and didn't want to buy other solutions that I didn't really need in my veggie garden as well. I hate the idea of mixing up 5 or 6 different solutions.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to keep using some of the solutions I have (Liquid Karma, Liquid Kelp, Microbe Brew, Superthrive, and molasses) with the Dyna-gro as they are all very low NPK?

Your best bet with any plant food brand is the grab a TDS meter and find out exactly how potent those bottles are. Once you know the ml/gal contribution of each product, you can then put something together in regards to the EC you like for each phase of growth/flower.

Here is a start for dirt; just use a couple mls per gallon of both protekt and grow for veg and double that for flower. Tweak based on what works best for you.
im wondering if you can help me figure out if this would be a good system for my aero flo2 system witch is constantly running.... this is my first grow and im trying to find a cheap, awesome! nutrient line to run. I need to keep my ppm in 1200 range in my 70g reservoir... witch is constantly aerated and i am going to put my clones in rockwell cubes to get them started rooting good. then im going to put them in 3" net pots with clay pebbles. just need a lil direction to get my baby's BEAUTIFUL!

I've been using dyna gro pro foliage 9-3-6 for my 2 week old seedlings in a flood and drain. The ppms with my tap include are 325. Should I start the boost soon? How much? My tap ppm is 240

The best way to try out new nutes is to run them side by side with your old nutes. Then you will know for sure which one works best for you. If the new nutes don't pan out, then at least you can harvest half a crop.

Regardless of your plant food brand, you should probably be feeding at a higher rate given that most of your ppm is coming from your tap.
