Dying lady...

Hi All,

I have this little cheeky who is getting worse by the day :~(

She went from a lush green to yellow & droopy in a matter of days.

My set up is as follows:

2 Ltr pot
Vitamix Pro Soil (It comes lightly fertilized)
600 W HPS about 1m from plant
2 x Fans (One aimed just off the plants & one aimed at the bulb)
Growth Technologies Formulex Nute
Canna Start Nute

I occasionally use the Canna Start as the Soil is lightly fertalised but not
very often.

She is 4 weeks old and has been under HPS for about a week.

I have had ph problems (which I have now rectified - Saturday just gone), but where as the others have really perked up & are growing 1/2" + a day, this one seems to be on her way out...

She was last fed with ph'd water & a little formulex on sat night but has shown no improvement :~(

I have added some pics, but my camera takes a very dark image so they don't look as yellow.

Any ideas?

Tks all...

you said she is 4 weeks old but only under the hps 4 1
if the new growth is yellow there is a chance that u light shocked it wen u put it under the hps.
what was it under before

my nutrient disorder reference indicates a manganese (Mn) deficiency

(Leaves from the top of the plant are light green or yellow beginning at the base, while the leaf margins remain green. Necrotic spots may be between veins. Leaves are not twisted.)

but that's from my book; my first instinct was stress from the HPS

Thanks guys...

The leaves are twisting.

Is this down to the hps?

I was using a 250w cfl but changed to
a hps as I don't have a shade for the cfl so
the light was kind of going round the tent as
opposed to directly onto the plants.

What's a Necrotic spot?

There are spots on some of the leaves but I put these down
as ph problem spots.

Good news...

I moved the problem children to the back of
the room so that the light was not directly
on them and they look a lot better...

Problem solved I hope :-)

thanks again all..
