i'm a fairly versed pyschonaut and i am very doubt full about any psychedelic drugs removing schizoid traits.
depression? yes
but from what i have seen the psychedelic world its very easy to either pick up false views on reality or to have your false views reinforced by the experience
they are a good tool to get another view on life but if your broken already dont expect them to fix you

You know what your right I think it gave me enough insight in myself and enough courage to talk about wat was making me depressed for basically my whole childhood/teenage years
