DWC with perlite ?

Im bout to do a dwc and wanted to know if just pure perlite would work for a good medium (in the net pot)? plese reply

Perlite and soil; good
Perlite and DWC; Bad (Just my opnion, I could be wrong)

For the record, the medium in DWC is water.

Me I use nothing just the colar and a 2" net pot.

Some use rockwool, some use hydroton.


I get good results

looks good to me lol, was those clones are did u start from seed ?

Clones.

I do clones in an 8 site areo cloner. Seed I would do rock wool, not that I would ever do a DWC straight from seed, i want nice roots when I add them to the DWC.

heh hmm i did somthing for the hell of it, i threw a seedling into my cloner, but im not sure if the roots will out grow the plant, almost a inch a day of root growth,, a bad thing ?
