Dwc turning yellow help plz

Top feeding is when you suck up some nutes from the pail and squirt them around the base of your little plant to feed it until the roots emerge from the net pot.

I think I'm seeing the root of your problem now. No roots! And no food for the sprout. Amazed it's still alive at all.

I have a 60cc syringe with some tubing on the end for sucking up samples for testing or top-feeding new clones. A good old turkey baster works well for that too and is easier to get cheap at most stores that sell kitchen stuff.

Shouldn't spray anything on your plants if you don't have to. It's most likely that's what causes those lower leaves to brown like they did at the ends. All makes sense now.

And add some more balls to block the light better too if you can see into the pail thru those slits in the pot.

Like you mean you have a double outlet air pump and only one line connected to the air stone with one just blowing air?

If so get a connector like the one I have for my little bubble cloner and run both air lines to your stone or get a second stone in there to hook it up to. The one not connected will eventually blow the rubber cup out on the open side and need a repair kit to fix it if you can get one. Even a little plastic 'T' from the hardware store will do. Doesn't have to have the little valve on it and it can be outside the pail with just one line feeding air to the stone in the pail. Going to change mine to work that way as the T valve is in the way.

The dwc i got was from ebay already done box with lid one airstone and one bubbler. Im guessing the airstone is providing air which is also mixing the nutes

I was j is t asking I f its a spare or needed but dont think i need it because bubbler always on
So there was just an extra piece of tubing in the kit you bought and the air pump has only one outlet?

The way you ask questions can be a little confusing at times but not a big deal.

Yes. Run without the air and your plant dies in a day or to so if the pump fails fix it or get a new one really quick. Like yesterday so you have a spare on hand. Or see if you can get a repair kit for your pump as they are a lot cheaper than a new pump.

I got tired of dicking around with little aquarium pumps and bought a couple of small commercial pumps that use a magnetically driven piston to pump air. This one I got off a buddy for $50 and I have another, larger one I bought at a hydro store. Same brand, EcoAir.

More pump than you need for a small DWC grow.
