If they ever ask when the last time you smoked, tell them 'yesterday' (or at least 8 hrs prior). Assuming they smell it. They like giving out DUI's if you admit to smoking recently.

EXCELLENT advice. And I'd even go so far as to consider keeping a pack of cigarettes in the car, to light one as you're pulling over for the cop. If he asks why you lit up, say it's just a habit. Doesn't even matter if you're a smoker.

I need to fabricate a bracket assembly to mount the 2 CMH setups coming in apparently Tuesday. Which is dope as I thought id be waiting until early April.
I wanna run a channel down the room so I can move the lights along the channel if I need to.

I just did the same and it blows the 600W HPS that's next to it right out of the water;
I've totally got to get on the stick and install the rest of them! I just learned how, so there's no more holdups.

Just hooked up the cmh kit and it made a weird noise when I pulled it in. Light electricity sounding. Unplugged it right away. The ground prong looks bent, not sure if that would cause that noise.
The CMH bulb is now grey colored. Not sure wtf is up with that or if its normal since the other one is still on.

I know with the other lighting system it wasn't good to unplug then plug back in right away. Is this the case with CMH as well?
And is there like a break in I need to do or is 18 on 6 off right away ok?

It has the metal E39 to pgzx18 adapter and the ballast
You just take out your old lamp, screw in the adapter, screw in the cmh bulb and plug the reflector into the ballast and should work.
Not sure why mine made that weird noise. Also not sure if that bulb is toast or not.

Looks like something bad did happen to the bulb.
The one that was running all night I shut off this morning and the arc tube is white still.

Did you run it? The short cycle may have left a residue that a proper operating cycle would remove.
