Would plants be okay if an air pump is on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours?

You'll be fine, but why not run them 24/7?

That'll help you maximize your dissolved oxygen in your
reservoir.

Leave your pumps on 24/7 the roots need that oxygen. Without it you could end up with root rot and kill your lovely ladies!

You plants will look really droopy if you dont have the air on all the time. They will start to get really slimy and brown. Thats not good, I made that same mistake once and they didnt get the nutrients like I thought they would.

That'll be VERY bad for your plants in DWC. you dont want STILL water

agreed water sitting for 12+ hours becomes (technically) stagnate witch is not good at all why wouldn't you want to run them 24/7 anyway just wondering?
