:blsmoke:Good afternoon folks.....I'm running 2 DWC bubblers using FloraNova Bloom. My Ph keeps dropping through the floor~ I'll ph to 6(yellow/orange) and come back a few hours later and its at like 9(Green)
I can not controll temps as its an outdoor closet....I have fans running though.Temps ranging from 85-95. Why is the ph so wonky.???The nutes seem to be "sinking" to the bottom of the tub, causing "muddy bottoms". They dont seem to be staying mixed.......Can I take a frozen 20 litre bottle and set it in the tubs to cool solution temps??? Any help would be appp. Ps, I dont have a ppm meter~so thats no help.:blsmoke:

your air temp are high but ok. but your res water will reflect this temp and you dont want your res water getting that warm I learned the hard way. Look for a CL-85 chiller I found one on ebay for 150 plus some shipping. or you can just looking an AC unit and get you air temp to 73 and you res will reflect that temp.

I also have problems with PH rasing 6 to 9 is up not down :) but not that much of a change over that amout time manybe 1.0 up a day if that. more so after a res change and cleaning.

ok now how old are the plants and how to the roots look? :blsmoke:

Well I have 4 seedlings in one tub, ones roots are poking through and that one's roots looks like shit....almost root rot, but the floranova will and does change the root color brown....I would say that that one plant is/ are not healthy as compared to my other crops., the other three have just been transplanted from soil to the dwc, so the roots have not poked through the net pots yet.....(I've done this numerous times and all it should be is shock...giving them another week....the other tub is in another closet, those plants are F2 clones that were stressed before getting to the DWC, but I just got the report that one of the two 2 month old plants is drooping badly, while the other looks great...same tub with two different plants doind two different things. I cant afford a chiller...I'm on a budget. Will a daily "frozen" bottle of water chill the tub enough to cool the res???? Thanks, need some help still....theese are the last of my ICE, and I dont wanna start my Bubblegum untill I figure out whats going wrong here,,,,,,,:blsmoke:AC unit is WAYYYYY outta the question.....no $$ for a chiller...what can I do???? Also I just did a res/nute change 2 days ago and ckd Ph this AM and Wooops through the floor again...?????

aggreed, you can try the frozen bottle of water to see if that helps but if you cant get your res temp below 74, your running a high risk of getting root rot along with a host of other problems, just out of curiosity, do you know the temp in your res? i read one thread where someone was in the same boat as you and they modified a cooler cut out the lid so that the res sat tight on it and filled the clooler with ice, never checked back but seems like it would work, just make sure to get a good seal between the res and the lid, if you decide to do that.

I wonder if you are not using ro water, I had the same issue without ro, but in the end I think the high temps may be to much for ya. Good luck
