Dwc/fish

It didnt work for me. I even tried leeches, brine and a few other things they all seemed to within a week.

that is the most common question my dumb friends ask about hydroponics. "could you keep fish in there?" i keep alot of aquarium fish and im not surprised that not even leeches could survive. there are many reasons why that would never work, lack of O2, to many salts, ect

Lack of oxygen - put in air stones
Salt and nutriets - eliminate that shit and go organic using the fish waste water for a fert.

If I ever get a grow going and have a chance to try hydro this will be a first experimenting!

Wouldnt ideally you want a big ass regular fishtank acting as the rez, and then feed the buckets off that. I think complete darkness will kill the fish.

a friend of mine had a 55gal tank with some south american cichlids. she grew some small plants out of her tank she just floated them using styrofoam/blue board, cut a hole in a square and set a net pot in the life ring and used small pieces of lava for support. it was a cool idea but they got to big and could no longer stand up w/o help
