DWC Cloner

I've never done a DWC cloner, unless you are talking about having some sprayers inside your setup?? I put the cuttings right into the 2'' net pots with the neoprene sleeve. Usually the cutting doesnt sit lower than the net pot, if thats what you mean?? I leave the sprayers on 24/7, but a lot of people do 1 min. on with 4 min. off to give the roots time to dry, grow and get some oxygen. Do you have a fixed cycle timer?

And if you are doing a DWC/Aeroponic cloner, im not sure what your plan is, but if you are going to transplant them in rockwool or anything, you dont want the roots getting too long. They are harder to transplant that way and can cause shock if you have to coil up all the roots to stick it into a rockwool cube. Again, I dont know what your plan is, so what is it and I might be able to help you out a little more

oh, the air pump! I thought you said water pump. If you are referring to the airstones, then yes. Keep them on 24/7, its good for the plants and keeps the water oxygenized and circulating

Ok thank you. One more question. The roots have all came out of the bottom of the net pots and are in the water, but the rockwool at the top portion where the plant is is very dry. Is this normal even though the roots are in water? Or should the top portion of the cube also be moist? Thanks
