Those are looking very good J! Very nice! I don't think my plants even reached the maturity that your "monster plant" has reached! Mandala is all over the board with the Satori! Every on I see is different! It looks like you have a winner with that pheno! Please tell me you took some clones....?

Unfortunately no clones :? It's surprising to me how one plant could be so different from the rest. Luckily the monster was female, otherwise I would have been left with 2 very mediocre plants. They were all raised the same and got the same nutes and it's black and white...night and day...

i know this is super late to ask, but I just started reading your journal. What was the purpose of the screen? or rather, scrog?

and do/did you have 2 plants per 7g tub

I saw you talking about the Clearex, I have something similiar its FloraClean. You said youre going to run it the last 3 days before harvest.. is that considered your flush?

some people i hear dont flush others, do for like 2 weeks... and you apparently are going to do 3 days. Let me know if yo ucan :)

Hey Katie, just for your info, clearex actualy has some sugars for your plant to live off of while you essentially starve them...Flora Kleen does not...I switch to clearex last harvest and I will not go back...But Flora Kleen is nice for washing Hydroton with..

Yo Katie, I'm actually going to flush them for closer to 2 weeks. I made the decision once I saw that my buds were getting very filled out yet the leaves are still lush green, and trichomes are still clear. I want as much of the stored up nutrients in the leaves and buds to get burned off. I started a Clearex flush 2 days ago and am just going to be adding Ph'd water from here on out. They are still drinking about 1.5 gallons per day.

Also, the idea of the screen/scrog was to spread the branches out as much as possible and hope for less vertical growth in my limited height area. However, I now realize I wasn't as aggressive with tying them down and bending them as I should have been. From my journal you'll see that I was overwhelmed by the continued vertical growth, even 3 weeks into flowering. Luckily the addition of CFL bulbs has allowed me to spread more light around and the results are better than expected.

Holy shit! I was just digging around in the box and found INCREDIBUD! Because of the tight confines, I haven't really been able to inspect what's going on at the back, but I decided to really get in there tonight. What I thought were several good sized buds is actually one, long, horse bud. I would estimate it's about 16 - 17 inches long and 4 inches wide! It's overwhelming...

Oh okay I see.. Clearex. So you're just flushing with clearex and then adding plain pHed water. for 2 weeks.

I still don't really understand tying down but I should probably get to reading about it before my next grow. I just want my puny ass plants I have in there now to get out. GRRR..

Im Tres jealous of your grow! its amazing!

Thanks Katie! I'm sure if you google SCROG you'll find plenty of reading. The idea is that as the plants grow vertically, you tie them down and spread them out. As flowering progresses, vertical growth slows. If you've trained, tied down, spread out the plants enough (which I did not), you will be able to maximize the limited space in a box like mine or other height restricted area. It also assures even spacing of the plant tops so all are getting equal light, ventilation, etc. Hope that makes it clear as mud!

Good luck on your next grow!

Well, every plant I've ever grown grows vertically, we have to train it horizontally by tying down and bending. I know what you mean, just giving you some shit bro!

CLEAREX WORKS!! I've just confirmed that Clearex does what it claims to do and I'm actually in awe of it. Starting a week ago, I fully drained my res of all nute solution. I even did a full rinse of the roots and hydroton with pure R/O water before refilling with 5 gallons of R/O & Clearex treated water. During the week, I added 1.5 gallons of R/O water everyday. Mid week I added an additional 60 ml of Clearex. Today, I decided to do a res change for the final 6 days and what I saw was amazing. I pumped the res water out into a white 5 gallon bucket and what I expected to be clear water was was actually as dark as the coffee I brewed this morning!!! (and we're not talking Kona coffee, I'm talkin French Roast yo!)

The Clearex is obviously leeching out built up nutes, salts, etc from the plants. I'm a believer!

Nothin new, I went over and saw them earlier today and not a lot has changed since my last round o' pics. They're obviously winding down their cycle. Most of the buds are exhibiting limited new pistil growth, although all still have some. The exception is my "twin towers" buds which are still covered with white furrys. Out plan is to chop most of the upper branches this next weekend and let the undergrowth finish up over the following 5 - 7 days. Next round of pics will probably not be til next weekend. But I promise they'll be worth waiting for!:weed:

By the way, I took a special "Super Bowl" clipping about 10 days ago and just partook. Ohhhh My is all I can say.

Yeah, I think clearex is a good product. Did you check the before and after PPM? That is the truth in the matter....There is other products that do the same, but Clearex has some sugars to help the plant along during it's last days.. So I don't have to add any other sweetners to the res...two buds with one....hmmm...stoned?

It went from low double digits up to the 200 ppm level over the course of the week.

Am I stoned? Ummm, huh? Wow, this game is kinda boring....but it's kinda good, Oh nice!, Giants just scored..... huh huh :joint: What was the question?
