DVG Humble Pie

I’m running cuts from the same mom in both my grow areas, it’s one of the humble pies that I flowered this last run. The clones just rooted and I put them in yesterday.

The smaller tent has 10x cxb3590, larger tent has the hlg scorpion Diablo

Both are fed the same, environment settings are the same, 70-80f day, 65-70 night 60%rh

The lights are both set for 200 umol currently, I’m using an apogee ePAR meter to set the intensity

Jacks 321 @ 1.2EC
0.5-1ml/gal calimagic
0.5-1ml/gal gs plant foods kelp
1ml/gal protekt
Small amount of hyshield (chitosan)

My starting water is 0.2EC (been experimenting with using tap water) and the additives are 0.1EC or so, final EC is 1.4-1.6

14 days at 200 umol

This clone was twice as large to start

I upped the light intensity to 300 umol, ramping up to 400 umol over the next week. Using an apogee ePAR meter.

21 days 18/6
At 400 umol for a couple days now

Humble pie day 1 12/12

This is after 32 days of veg, I changed the nutrient formula again three weeks ago:

.1g/gal Sea-k (from gln) it’s dry kelp
.25ml/gal hyshield chitosan
80% of 3g2g1g jacks 321 (12gA 8gB 4g epsom per 5 gallons)
I have some calcium in my tapwater about 20-30ppm depending on the season so if I switch to RO I’d add some calimagic
I had the start of a potassium deficiency before bumping the jacks up to 80%, and maybe .1g/gal of the sea-k is still a bit hot any more than that and I lock out calcium.

It’s not an equipment comparison

It’s to help me remember!

Maybe if I ever get this dialed in I’ll do a comparison, so in like forever…. I’m just a hobbyist with no natural talent for growing.

But everything is being fed the same from the same place and the lights are set to the same intensity according to my meter and the environmental settings are identical. It’s useful to me to tweak nutrients or environment but maybe not someone deciding between equipment.

I ordered some MKP and I’m going to add a tiny bit of that starting soon, like .05EC and see how that goes. I don’t know when would be best to add it, or for how long so I’ll try a couple weeks this time.

This run is going pretty good, last year sucked pretty bad… I hope you get it up and running soon!

Yo! I've been on the hunt for DVG Humble Pie Seeds. Do you have extras? I'd be willing to $buy. or trade. I have a good collection of seeds by Cannarado,3rdCoast,ThugPug,Bloom Seed etc.
