Awesome results Uno! I really want to try the bubble bucket. I have just about everything I need except nutes. Do you have any suggestions?

Update!!!

Well...for 2 of the plants, things are going well. They have stretched quite a bit and are starting to flower nicely, however one plant has slowed growth and isn't looking quite as happy. I believe this is due to over-fert, but wanted to see what you guys think. I'm not even sure if it is worth keeping because the other 2 plants are getting much bigger and kinda crowding it out. Opinions?

well, This was my first DWC. I had that plant germed in a coffee can bubble bucket, in a 2" net pot. 2" is way to small. the damn thing was always ready to fall over. id go with at a min a 3" pot, probably a 4" would be better. I used a rockwool plug with hydroton rocks. there was only 1 6" sandstone airstone, hooked to a double outlet air pump.

other than that, i used Xnutrients for the whole vegg, and half the flower period (till i ran out in week 5). I changed the res usually once a week, i may have let it go 2 weeks once or twice. tried like hell to keep PH around 5.8-6.2, but it would do whatever it wanted the last few weeks (when I started using Dyna-gro, I just need to figure out how to use the stuff in DC i think.)

other than that, i dont think I did anything special, I did use some Hydro-Rush also in the res (it was a sample bottle so I tried it out, still have some left also)

im trying to get some BC purps ready for a side by side DWC grow. but just tossed em in the cloner the other day. This time im gonna use DG, X-nuts, and if I get my hands on some AN Sensi A+B ill use that also (a nod to PhillipC). Iv done purps several times, so im very familiar with the strain. I should be able to notice any differences in growth rate, flavor, etc....

Well I have enough supplies to set up two buckets. I haven't gotten the net pots yet so I was going to go with at least 4"...what do you think about 6"....too big? What did you do to drain your buckets? I thought about just having an extra empty bucket, on hand, to place the plant in while changing the water. I should be ready to go for my next grow....I got some blueberry gum and deep purple seeds coming..along with a ton of other random freebies. I'm also amassing some auto seeds and thought about doing a run of those. The bubble buckets would be perfect for that.

i had an xtra bucket, so i just filled the new bucket with my water/nute mix, then swapped the lid onto the fresh bucket, then I wash out the original for the next week. 4" pots would be good i think. 6" might be better, but i think that bigger ones hang unnecessarily low inside the bucket (but i could be wrong), therefore reducing the amount of water it starts with. plus the kitty litter buckets are 5.3 gallons (just FYI)

I was reading a thread earlier here on RIU, where the guy used 3g water jugs, cut out a spot for a square net pot, they seemed to work for him decent. I buy 5g of water in the water cooler jugs regularly, so i have some of those kikn around (there is no deposit on the ones i buy, so no loss cutting them). I had chopped one earlier to repot a cheese into, however that is in a promix medium.

Raider, I like those square root pots. I have some round ones and 3g seem to work fine for me.

Everything I've had from DP hermied out.

I had some blueberry from a private dealer a few years back and it was heavenly, love it. Wish i could get a good blueberry plant, such a nice, calming, euphoric high.

Even Dutch Passion states that this is a sensitive strain and that it is not for the amateur grower. I don't see any herm signs as of yet and believe me..I check em over thoroughly. I just try to keep the plants as stress free as possible. I'll get some new pics up tomorrow. My humidity is running at 20% which I think is a bit low. I may get the humidifier in there tomorrow. Raider what hum. do you usually run?

Mr I Can Do That For Half
Ive grown it before I wouldnt reccomned topping the plants they are pretty short anyways. Lst or super cropping is fine. Kinda a hard cloner for me it seems. Not a heavy producer but very nice marble sized nugs hard as rocks. Keep ph at 5.8 if hydro if soil no idea to much work and time for me to do soil anymore lol

my humidity usually 30 to 40 %.but its fixin to get hot and dry.hopefully better crops durin this time of season.the lower the better and keeps mold down, algae ,pathogens.my BB also wasnt a big yielder as well tho they were frosted thick.

So far so good. The 2 larger plants are 2 weeks into flower and the smaller girl is 3 weeks. I took some pollen from a Grapefruit Krush male and pollinated some buds on the smaller plant. I wanted to begin my journey into breeding with just trying to successfully get some seeds. Who knows what I'll get. There are no signs of herm as of yet so..just taking it one day at a time...lol.
