Durolux 4' 4 bulb. enough for veg?

OK... so i should have done my research more before i purchased and hung this light. In retrospect i probably should have purchased an 8 bulb set up BUT, i am invested now and want to know if this is going to work.

I am planning on growing 4 plants in an ebb and flow set-up with rock wool? or hydrocorn. Anyway, i am going to go grab 2 indica clones and 2 sativa clones and try and grow them with LST. I am wondering if this light, if kept between 2" and 4" from the plants and spaced approximately a foot apart will veg well enough prior to flowering to not just waste a bunch of money on nutes for a gram at the end.
I am planning on moving them over to a 600W HPS after the veg phase.

I have a few and they work great once they get a certain height. I usually use till about 18-24in tall or you could train them tokeep them low like a scrog to keep light from having to go deep

I use to run 2 1000 watts lights in my room before i haf to tear apart. I used the durolux lamps from seedlings to almost 2 foot tall and then transplanted into 15 gal pots. If you look up. Whitebb27 organic wardrobe grow in the organic section he ran a 4ft 8 bulb durolux fixture flowered with it and everything. He is good people pretty good friend as well. I dont really have pics as i am illegal state and always nervous to post pics. The last big run i did i had some weird probs with a few girls. But it was just genetics and did not really take pics.
