duct fan suggestions?

I've probably read through a thousand posts by now, but I've yet to see any suggestions on where to get an in-line duct fan. I've had no luck finding them at Home Depot, or any local hardware stores.

My grow space is ~35 cubic feet, and will be lit with CFLs.

Will any standard duct fan I find online be able to be hooked up to a dial, to adjust the speed?

Where would you suggest I look (online or not) for a good, quiet fan?

Thanks!

HTGsupply has them but they are cheep. I just opened my new 400 watt light last night and the damn thing blew up. It smoked out my whole grow room and not in a good way lol. But if you are on a budget, they have cheep shit, literally.

Does anyone have a suggestion on a good reliable one? the cabinet doesnt get too hot fast, so I don't think I need a ton of ventilation, but I certainly do need some. The room went from about 68 to 105 in roughly three hours of lights being on, total cubic feet of the space is just shy of 35 cu. ft.

I called HTG about the blown up light, and the didnt even hesitate. My new one is on the way with a return shipping ticket for the old one. I have to say they have excelent customer service.

The fans i got work fine for what im doing.

Its like they say, you get what you pay for.

Darthracer. How long have you had your light? Have you had ANY problems with it?

i've had my light for maybe 6 months, not sure on exact date i got it. but i really only used it for 1 month cause of socal heat, i normally grow outdoors but at the time i had money so i thought i might as well make an investment. about the duct fan its alright i guess, i should have just shopped around more not as strong as i want it to be but it will do for now.

i got the 80cfm inline from htg, was on my doorstep within 24hrs! my box is like 3x3x3 (27CF i believe) i have heard you want enough cfm to clear out your room 3x a minute. mine is just enough for my space, i added the diy carbon filter to the end, no smell. but yours appears larger, i would recommend a 120cfm or better. i could be wrong but may be right :)

hence my cooltube decision whatevr the heats like . . i wish htg done stuff in europe . . . u could maybe hav a look into marine bliges aswell - waterproof , low power consumption etc

man thats even worse in a sense - i get scared of 1 big short knockin everythin out so i stock up on surge protection plugs and the likes.
yeh ill be keeping my fingers crossed this 1 works out for u bro, if its a noisey 1 and they dont want the broken 1 returnd u could maybe make a double layered housing ( provided its vented well enough) or not of course . .
