Dub's Power Shower of Organic Flowers

Thanks dude! I appreciate the comment! I can say that the flouro tube's weren't the worst thing in the world, i just wish i would had gotten started about a month before i did! I can see such a huge difference between HID and the fluoro's in veg... I need to get a 1000w for flower.

The orange pot is only topped for 8, but i've been training it outwards to the edge of the bucket, and kept it mostly flat. I trimmed all the lateral branches on the dirt side. But the growth from the branches on the light side is rivaling the main heads, for sure. I plan on taking out about 4 of em for some clones, and leaving the center four to flower, should make for some nice lower shelf buds. It'll be good to try a couple different methods so i can see how they affect overall yield.

i got a bit of wiggle room i there... there is a gap between pots just like in the front view... But yea, i am pushing it a bit. trying to YIELD here!

You'll be alright in that space. Just make sure you start training them to the stakes around your pots to tie down. Looking good.

Everything is tied to the bamboo, and they don't get much wider than the pots, except for a few fans. It's no more dense than a scrog. lots of airflow in there.

where you at Dub, 90 day veg????............ I know you switched to flower but what was the final veg length on them bitches?

86 days veg on black pots, and about 60 on the orange bucket. I had to make due with a few flouro's until I got the hid set up right. I didn't get super vigorous growth until they got settled in the 5s. Now they are blowing up, and have gotten into the SuperSoil and LOVE it.


Ideally i would had most likely gotten them under an hid from the get go... But life throws you curve balls and you gotta pay the bills. I did what I could with what I had.

il do that but im sure youl be fine man, im just interested in comparing results. my girls or boys are only 16 days from seed.....so they have a bit before the real training happens, although they are recovering from their first topping....

I know now, that if I topped from seed again I would top at the 4th node, and cut out the first 2 lower nodes. I think they would had rebounded a bit faster and stressed the plants less. That being said... I still got 4/5 females!

Yea my first ML adventure I topped every time WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too soon. So this time I'm waiting till the node that I want to use has about 1/2" of secondary growth before I top. When I do that it's like I haven't even topped them. I did that to my plants last night and I checked on them this morning and they are the happiest plants I've ever seen EVER. (though I haven't seen that many plants. He leaves are pointing strait up. It's crazy. She got her name this way. Her name is "Joy" From now on my JB cuts and plants and w/e will be called joy. I only got 1 female out of 5 it made me sad but I think she is gonna do awesome!

That's a lot like how I am going about training my clones now. Much faster recovery!

I also had a pH issue in the beginning, and they were under a 2 ft t5, and a 2 bulb 2 ft t8. Not the best lighting.

Just a quick teaser update on whats been going on so far...Day 6 of flower!

I would say that these girls are in stretch mode... Space Bomb #1 in particular is really putting on a show. I had tied these all off with about 6 inches or more of bamboo above the canopy when they went in, and they have already almost hit the top!! Insane growth on SB #1, it's definitely got a bit more of a lanky inter nodal spacing.



I figure i will wait til Monday or Tuesday to give these ladies a lollipop! Don't wanna slow em down just yet...
