Dual spectrum lighting is it worth it?

tckfui......It was 600.00 and has a 400w MH bulb and a 600w HPS bulb. I wrote alot more about the heat, etc. but for some reason most of my post didn't go through...

that dosnt sound like such a bad deal. but I think it would be like 150 cheaper if you would have bought them seperate, and they would have been able to cover a larger space, but this is just me trying to be cool jk I dont need to try and be cool, I'm cool as it is

tck i thought you had two different ballast anyway?

why not run one mh and one hps during the whole cycle?

its just the single bulb and it works for both stages. im using it, no complaints.

I do have 2, I have 3 actually but the 3rd one is in a box, I bought it for no reason good to have a backup though!
I dont really think I need to have a MH, I mean sure things might grow alittle better, but I dont really see it making a huge difference, I use the 430 watt bulbs with the enhanced spectrum anyway, so it kind of like you havwe a little bitch ass 50W MH in their

mh is the fuckin shit for your foliage/ veg stage.

i used 400w mh only for around 1 1/2 months and had 32" females the males were even taller than that.

as soon as i switched out to Hps 400w everything stop growing and went into shock for about a week and still now (2 weeks later) the leaves are all limp unlike with the mh they stuck out like they were in electric shock.

I wish my hps would do for the buds what the mh did for growth
