Drying

My drying area is really humid this time of year(60-70%). After I trim my buds, can I clip the bud flower from the stem to speed up the drying process? Also, can I harvest during the "lights off" period or wait until they come back on? Does it matter?

I harvest when the lights are on simply because it is easier. My focus is getting everything cut safely and quickly so I can get the next round in ASAP.

You can use a drying rack to dry your buds if you cut them from the stems. It will Cause them to dry pretty quick and when I used that process many moons ago, I found it diminished the terps. Also I didn’t like everything drying so quickly. The window for moving everything to cure is much smaller and I often get called into work which would sometimes end up with overdry herbs that won’t cure.
