hey guys i chopped and been hanging for 3 days now. my room is not ideal for drying and dont have any other option at the moment... maintains bout 40% humid and around 70 degrees temp.... buds feel like they should be jarred up, starting to get a lil crispy on the outside. since the room isnt ideal and is drying quicker than liked should i jar up before they get too dry? sorry noob questions..... first grow.

Yes, jar before they get too dry. Burp those jars and watch humidity. Sometimes after you slow them down in the jar you need to dump them back out into a large, paper grocery bag. That slows down the drying but it continues at a faster rate than in a jar, drying outside decent environmental parameters can be done but it's not the optimal way of doing it.

Yeah jar before too dry, use a humidity gauge in the jar. Next time rig a swamp/evaporation cooler in the dry space with an inkbird set to 55-60%, and using a window unit, if you can, to bring temps down wouldn't hurt anything either once you've got a humidifier

After 4-5 days throw the nugs single layer in paper bags and fold closed. Check on them once a day and after a week or so they should be ready for jars. Jarring when the middle of the nugs are still wet is just not smart imo. You will be emptying your jars multiple times a day because they aren't actually fully dry
