Drying Room Design

I am thinking about building a small closet in my grow room to serve as a drying and curing room. It will be light sealed. I am thinking what kind of ventilation would I need for this closet to properly dry and cure? And suggestions would be great thanks.

You are going to want to bring in fresh air near the bottom and exhaust near the top. I have a cardboard box I use that has string running across the top to hang the buds on. If you blow fans on them they will dry too quick so you need to exchange the air in the closet without creating too much movement.

I dry in my flowering room since its humidity/temp/smell controlled -I use a premade plastic storage unit with large drawers, inside each drawer is a metal rack/screen typically used for cooking, they stack on top of each other I fit 3 racks per drawer, 1 drawer holds roughly a plant - the whole thing is on the concrete floor and its the room is about 65-75F with my humidity controlled at around 35% or 40% it takes 10 to 14 days to dry here then I go to jars to cure, the smoke is already smooth at this point before the cure even begins since it was dyed so slow.

@Little Tommy do you have pictures of your design, cause I need some type of inspiration for mine too.
I will have to get you a photo. I have been using the same one for years, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. I will try to get a picture after work today.

Um, you could open the door for starters.

we have about 15 plants about 10 are 3-5 ft high but the rest are 8-9 foot monsters but the buds looks small and underdeveloped...are they going to explode all at once since its already late august? they are definately healthy being the grew so big..also once they are done if they get big...what is the ideal drying process from picking and after and the conditions to dry in? we lost a ton of plants last year due to poor drying method..

ive never made any special arrangements for my buds to dry, i take a closet witha coat hanger bar going across it, hang the buds from a lower popcorn bud on the hangers, then wait 4-5 days.

dryin isnt the indepth part, its the curing that takes practice
