Just a quick and simple question. When drying does the room half to be total darkness? Can it be in a room that has a little light during the day and black at night?
Incorrect the reason you dry in the dark is due to fact that light can and does degrade thc once its chopped.I think the reason for the lights off during drying is so there's no "extra chance" of getting mold and budrot for the most part, especially with high temps and high humidity level(over 60%). pretty much the only reason I can think of.

Yes why do you think those cv vaults are light proof. Mine are kept in my closet for long term storage. If light degrades the thc when its chopped, When i cure it in the jars that too should be done in the dark. Also should i store it in the dark after its cured?
Its not gremlin strain its THC bomb. Why cant my shit have any light on it. lol..
I store my jars in a Coleman food cooler, keeps them nice and darkIf light degrades the thc when its chopped, When i cure it in the jars that too should be done in the dark. Also should i store it in the dark after its cured?

Yah true but for me I send my in to be tested an I like my patients to know their meds are the best possible they can be. Plus they know exactly what they are and aren't gettingI would not get all anal about it IMO, I agree with the above posts especially when it's a gallon jar of cannabis. It sits in one of my safes and does not see the light of day. But Unless you had it sitting g right under a light for days on end I doubt you would be able to notice a difference in potency. JMO
good to know! thanks for the info!Incorrect the reason you dry in the dark is due to fact that light can and does degrade thc once its chopped.
mold and bud rot are temperature and humidity dependent. Not light.I think the reason for the lights off during drying is so there's no "extra chance" of getting mold and budrot for the most part, especially with high temps and high humidity level(over 60%). pretty much the only reason I can think of.
