Drying in my living room causing me headaches

Anyone else experienced this, it could just be coincidence or something else completely anyone please vote.

probably coincidence, however there are hundreds of possible volatile compounds being released. i would say if trimming exacerbates the problem.....theres your answer

its certainly possible

I've had some make my arms break out for a few hrs. and I've trimmed some that is so pungent it can turn your stomach. I think it's entirely possible it could give you a head ache.

yea, i have a garlicky chemy plant thats guaranteed to make your nose run and eyes water while trimming

cystolithic hairs and calcium oxalate crystals are definitely something to be careful about as well when handling bud, especially trimming dry

I feel the headaches more when burping my early bud curing jars. That might be me inhaling to hard.

it doesnt really matter, the "essential oils" are trapped in a waxy trichome while growing which you rupture while trimming.
of course through heat, natural vapor pressure and properties of the compounds themselves they can migrate through.
keep in mind many of these compounds will burn skin and some are toxic. they are the same compounds in other plant's essential oil that you can purchase for whatever home use aromatherapy , insecticide etc

they also can destroy plant tissue through apoptosis



you very well may have an allergy to them

theres a wide range of alcohols esters aldehydes etc being released

The constant smell of released chlorophyll I'm sure can cause a headache

Thank fuck I trim before drying it could of been a hell of a lot worse
