Drying in a fridge?

at the moment i am drying my plant on paper towels and hanging on string in a dark cupboard with a rotating fan in there on 24/7. they have been drying for 3 days. all of the smaller buds are dry and crispy so ive put them in air tight jar to cure.

the other buds are much bigger and i can tell they still have abit of moisture in them in the middle.

im wondering what would happen if i put a decent half sized bud in the fridge. maybe on the lowest setting for a day or so. would the moisture be extracted some how or would i run the risk of mold?

edit: maybe putting buds in air tight jars and then putting them in the fridge might protect against mold.

well, im gonna try to dry a small bud in paper towel in Tupperware in the fridge when i get home tonight. i will check it every half a day or so and report back.

of course i can compare this to my hang drying and masion jar curing method. hopefully the fridge method will dry and cure at the same time.

the fridge will just preserve the bud for a bit longer, it wont dry it out i dont think :?
