A fan is ok but make sure you're checking the bud so it doesn't dry too fast. Especially if the humidity is low.hey everyone im drying up the buds finally harvested yesterday. I have a question I know people say not to have the fan directly blowing on the buds but is it ok if it is and osilating fan? that just blows back and fourth? thanks in advance for any help

They'll be fine. The main reason fans aren't supposed to be blowing on them, is because they dry out a little faster. Many growers want them to dry as slow as possible(without getting mold), because it gives a better tasting smoke. Drying them faster, leaves more of a grassy smell and a harsher taste, but the potency is about the same. There's lots of variables, but that's the basic idea.

The best test is to squeeze the buds. When the buds seem fairly dry to the touch but the stems don't snap, they are ready for jars. Smoke a joint and if you don't have to keep lighting it you're ready for the jars.
