Been drying for 6 days in a dark closet roughly at 70 deg. The stems fold,no snap. the buds arent very big and considering thr curing process. what do you think??
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

They seem dry enough to smoke. they feel sticky too. I want the best aroma so i need to figure out if its better somewhat sticky,or drygoing into the jars...6 days isn't that long even with smaller buds, particularly if the humidity is high. you didn't post the humidity. are they dry enough to smoke? i like to jar mine when they are just about smokeable.
It seems some of the strains I grow don't dry out 'right'-like snappy stem means it's done. So with those I wait till they feel like popcorn dry and then jar them even though the stems dont snap much. Then I can burp the jars a little more if they need it like an hour at a time once a day or whatever. Point is I think it's better to play it on the moist side and dry it out slow as you reasonably can for better results, cause once it's too dry it doesn't matter. Gotta note though that I live in a very dry place where mold isn't hard to control. peaceThey seem dry enough to smoke. they feel sticky too. agreed. over dry buds are very lacking in the pleasure department. people get worried about mold but if your're fairly vigilant the first couple days with the burping mold will not be a problem. a test i use is after the buds have been jarred for about a day i turn the jar upside down. if the buds fall immediately they are too dry. if they stick for a moment then fall with a light shake they are right on track. if they seem glued to the jar they should be dumped out to air dry for a bit more.It seems some of the strains I grow don't dry out 'right'-like snappy stem means it's done.
