Drying cabinet built from insulated foam board?

Cooling a small tent 2x4x6 for slow drying at 60f degree with a portable AC is a bit tough.
the AC has to be on 24/7 to keep it at 60 degrees and if it’s turned off it jumps to 75 within 5 minutes.
i have the portable AC venting into the tent and it’s a 10,000 btu.

i was thinking of building a 2x4 box made of out insulated foam board from Home Depot in hopes that the cool air from the AC would hold steady for at least 20min or longer to give the AC a break and help with my electric bill. I see DIYers building better coolers with the same boards so thats what got me thinking the cold air might hold in the drying cabinet.

bottom line is the tent doesn’t hold cold air..

any thoughts, opinions, experience is appreciated.

An old fridge works pretty good. If it works, you have an area with cold / managed humidity.

Not sure how much you are drying so it might be a mute point with fridge.
