Drying buds?

Hello all. Six weeks into 12-12 I am thinking ahead about where to dry buds. I have six plants in flower and will be harvested at different times. My question is can I dry them in the same room with the other plants? I don't have a separate room with a carbon filter and am concerned about the smell. I did read up on this and im not sure if its the best way to dry. I'm hoping rui can help with my decision.

It's OK to dry them all in the same room. You should be careful not to over dry any plants if you will be hanging them at different times.

get a cardboard box and hang them in that while you continue to grow. Keeps the buds in the dark and the cardboard helps draw even mositure out (so I hear). My best dry has been down in cardboard boxes.

Can i put it in a cardboard box. And put the box inside the grow room?
It doesn't even need to be in the room. I dry this way

hang in box

connect box to the inlet of my tent (where sucking air in). don't close the side tight so air can come in

So you suggest three days? Can this be done inside with no smell? And when three days is over do they get hung to dry?
First Time ..it takes balls to gently soak ur buds like that..lol

first time I did it I went the full 5 days but really the bud was tasteless and smell-less,

so I go the 3 days or 36 hour soak, be gentle and avoid cold cold water as you can snap off them trics,

then hang to dry like your laundry but not too hot 77f max is good,

the deal being is you soak out all that crappy chlorophyll, etc etc

of which I'm feeding back to vegging plants ..lol

and don't forget you can actually do both,

just hang a twig in a bucket of water 3 days change water every day

and continue your drying and harvesting as normal..?

it certainly saves you having to explain your situation

to you local fire chief or your mom with examples like the above ....lol

good luck

can you explain what I'm doing wrong here? Why would a fire chief be needed or a mom (I've got no worries about my mom turning up as she lives on the other side of the world.)

The water drying is very interesting. Cardboard hooked up to air intake and vented through carbon filter is a good idea. May try both.
