Drying buds question

Hey guys!! So i finally harvested my babies!!! So stoked all manicured and hung... My question is they are hanging in my grow tent so its nice and dark.. have the carbon filter so there is constant air flow. my tent so far has been 66 degrees... was wondering if i should open a flap at the bottom of my tent and have a space heater outside the tent on a timer for every few hours to be on for 30 mins or so. So the air will be blown through the bottom up through the tent and out the filter... Should i even bother wit this or is 66 degrees fine?

66 degrees is good for a nice slow dry. Be sure you keep tabs on your humidity sometimes when air is cooler the humidity will rise. I dry everything at 65-68 degrees at around 50% humidity
Congrats on your first harvest. Nothing like it.

Hey so it seems like the bud is pretty crisp on the outside. It's weird they're getting a lot crisper than I though it's only been 5 days. Here's a pic I go to squeeze it and it seems to be spongy still but the purl waves and buds are flaking off. It's been a steady 60-65 degrees and I have the cabin filter running at all times.

Put them in jars. Start curing. There is no set amount of days for drying. Dry till the buds feel dry and stems are still bendy. Jar them up. Wait 24 hours to open and the buds will be moist again from drawing moisture out of the stem and inside of the buds. Leave lid off for an hour or so. Repeat each day till ready. It's kinda if a "feel" thang. It gets easier each harvest. Before you know it you will be sharing your knowledge.
