Drying and preventing mould question.

My girl is ready for the chop in a week or two and the last thing I want is mould shitting on my first harvest.

My grow space has fairly good air flow. (two PC fans, one intake one out.) But I am unable to dry in this space, I have two young ones on the go so I won't be able to kill the lights.

My idea was to hang my buds in a cardboard box and throw that in the grow space. That way its light tight but still able to breath. However, is it not possible that the cardboard might hold some moisture and just make things worse?

Any ideas?

Yes it could hold moisture and make it worse.
Light is bad, no air movement is bad, too much moisture is bad.

If you want to cheaply DIY make a cardboard box with 2 PC fans on either end.
That way you have constant air moving over the buds. But that may dry it out
too much. Or it could work perfectly, just keep an eye on it.

Mold is worse than light. I have dryed above my lights, takes a week and a half to chop so the lights stay on, for years without any problems or noticeable loss of potency. I had to contain the smell so everything stayed in the tent.. You do what you have to and I'm sure you wouldn't even notice a difference..
