drying and curing

So I'm bout to harvest in a couple of days. I was thinking about letting the buds dry out for a week or so, (max 7 days), then jar the buds. Do I still need to burp after that? They SHOULD be pretty damn dry by 7 days.

Is it still "curing" even if I don't burp? Burping is only to get rid of the excess moisture correct?

Let the buds breathe atleast once a day for 10minutes during the first week, then 2 times a week for the 2nd week, and once more during the 4th week. Thats for a long cure. If you want a 2 week cure, let the buds breathe for 5-10minutes 3-4 times a day for 10-14 days, and your golden...or is it green :D

if theyre super dry, then yeah there would be no real reason to burb them...of course your aim is to not have them super dry, as they can't cure w/o some moisture present.

If they get too dry put the more moist fan leaves in the curing jars to hydrate them a little, because if they get too dry during the drying process so moisture will be trapped at the center of the buds, and unable to escape during the curing process due to the condition of the plants cell wall which will hold the water inside the nugs.
