Dry time

I just finished harvesting my first plant and i was wondering if some one could help tell me how long small buds take to dry comparied to my large ones. My small ones couldnt be hung (to small) so will they dry faster then the ones hung?

Theyll most likely dry a day or so faster depending on how small/airy they are and your drying environment. I use a dry rack with strings tied on it, 65-75f and 50-60% rh. Anything not hanging on strings aka smaller buds goes into paper bags or mixing bowls a day or so before the big ones come off the strings. Then they all stay in the bags or bowls together for another day or three until theyre ready for jars. Seems to have worked out for me, slows the small buds just enough to let the big ones catch up, then slows them all enough to let me get the timing just right while not overdrying or drying too fast.
