Dry leafs / rips

hi just wonderd if anyone could help me im a first time grower and ive just picked up some cutts off a realiable friend, ive had them in my room a two days and the plants seem dry, theirs rips and cuts in 2/3 of the leafs and its like half of a leaf as fallen off? theyre realy small ive gave them a some water, also the edges seem to be curlin up or to the side...

i have two lights 600 watts a intake and outtake fans, ive just this minute turnd a normal fan on to circulate the air, is ther any tips or cud any one help me plz?
 
how do i tell? when i took them out of what he gave me them in and placed them into pots they had white fings comin out the bottom of the plant?
 
If those are all the plants you have you are wasting electricity w/1200 watts. You're probably cooking them. I'd put them under a handful of cfl's until they get some new foliage. Also you would be better off during veg with bulbs in the 5500-6500K range, rather than the HPS bulbs you have them under.
