so far so good friend like the new setup cfl 2ft should do the trick if thats what your thinking. you can probably do more than if you could wit the cfls you got now but thats what imma use is cfls the whole grow on mine. but for yours nice work.

Thanks josh but to be honest with ya, I'm not sure what I'm gonna go with. My head has just been spinning with possibilities. Really I'm just trying to make it through this grow first. I got plenty of time to upgrade.

I finally found out how many females I got from the Batch Of Northern Lights #5.

6 females outta 10.. Not bad.

I wish I could send ya a clone, it looks good. Who knows ;-)

Im gonna snip the tops and put em in the cloner tomorrow.

Yeah man I just stopped by your thread and everything is looking nice and clean. I'll bet that was an all day job. That bucket of buds looks nice too.

Yeah that would be awesome if you could send me a clone but I don't think the poor little girl would make the trip. It was a nice thought though my friend.

Six clones are still alive on my end. I gotta get some kind of an exhaust in there but this closet is a little tougher to ventilate. I have a half ass plan I'm gonna implement tomorrow. I'm gonna have to cut a cpl holes in the ceiling and install 2 small fans I got laying around the house to get some fresh air flow going through the closet and to get the temp down about 5 degrees. The hottest it get's in there is 83 degrees. If I can get around 78 I'll be a happy camper. I'll just have to see how it works out.

Have fun manicuring them buds and try not to cut any fingers off.:razz:

Down to 1 plant.... bummer, but she is looking Fantastic. I would tie her down to spread her out and Maximize bud sites and light. Then give it about 1 week, and you will totaly fill that closet! Wall to wall to wall to door, 2 ft thick, nothing but buds!

:weed: I like the new closet! Can you say perpetual! You are well on your way to being self sufficient. Good Luck!

There are way to send clones.. done it before my Man ;)

83 max isn't too bad..

Clones love the extra heat, and humidity.. should be fine.

But yea, the more air circulation the better.

Aight, gotta finish up my "to do" list.

Just remembered, I need to get my co2 tank filled!! totally forgot.

My brain is foggy this morning..minimal sleep.

sounds a good plan to fan out, i wish i had the space. (loads of buds) i'm going to take on board the central res idea for next grow and the filtered water, thanks to your tread ... enjoying the ride.

What's up CB, I'm glad you joined the ride my brother, although it's been a bumpy one. I went to full strength bloom nutes last night right before lights out and when I woke up this morning she was sick and droopy but she is showing no signs of nute burn on the leaves. I went from 1280 to 1400 ppm and I guess she didn't like it . I also added some flora shield to the mix too just make sure I didn't carry anything bad from the previous res. I had emailed a support tech from GH a while back and he assured me the it was quite okay to do this.. Although I've read hear on RUI and on the internet that it was not a good idea. So I just let her go all day to see if she was gonna recover. I think she was showing a little improvement. Some leaves (mostly the big fans) don't look very good but the smaller growth and tops look pretty good. So I decided to let her rest through the night and see what happens.

I'm staying up all night till 3 AM when the lights come on and I'm gonna see what she looks like. If I see no further improvements I'm gonna do a full res change with straight pHed water and see what happens.

Yes this has been one rocky road for my first grow and it's a little depressing at times when things aren't going my way. This is the second time this has happened to me now but I will press on and I will not quit. This just makes me all the more wiser and I'll be more prepared for my next grow. which brings to the new veg room. So far so good. I still have 6 clones alive and well. Some of the bigger fan leaves are drying up but all the smaller growth and tops are doing well. I still haven't seen any signs of roots but I have confidence that I will sometime soon.

Yesterday I took two 120 CFM PC fans and rigged each one up to a 12 volt power supply and mounted them to the ceiling. I had to cut two 4 1/2 inch holes and cut away some insulation before mounting them. Right now their pulling air in from a 1" gap from under the door. I wasn't expecting much from them but they managed to drop my temps by 4 degrees and provide much needed air circulation. These fans are just temporary until can afford some better exhaust.

That's it for now. I'll update tomorrow on the status of my girl.

Okay so I stayed up till 3AM this morning and checked on my lady and she was doing just fine. Something I didn't mention in my previous post is that I when I changed out the nutes the other day I had about a 1/2 gallon extra and just decided to put it all in there figuring she would just drink it up. The water level was touching the net pot and I thought maybe she was over watered. So I lowered the res back to normal and within a day she has recovered. I'm not sure if that was actually the problem but I'll never do that again.

A reliable source told me that they have had the water past the net pot before with no side effects. I'm beginning to think that maybe it just depends on the strain that your growing.

What ever happened I'm back to being a happy little hemp farmer.:hump:

I'll post pics of my girl, the clones and the small upgrades I made to the veg room tomorrow. Today I'm getting ready to pick up more cow patties from the yard and mow the grass for the first time this spring. I got a lot of yard work to do and I'm gonna enjoy this 75* weather we've been having. The weather man says were gonna be looking at 80 + degrees soon so I'm gonna git r done before the heat wave.

Good morning buddy,

Glad things are improving your way.

I read that your getting air from a 1" air gap from under the door.

A reccomendation, can you leave the door open during the light hours?

Good afternoon there CG. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood my man. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and it's a great day to be out side but I find my self back in here talking shop. Ahhhh this is but a wonderful addiction.

I have and do leave it open at times. This grow closet is in a spare bedroom that I have converted into my computer room/office. I'm in here around 60% of the day. My desk sits right beside a nice window view of my neighborhood and I like to keep the blinds open so I can see what's going on and I'd rather my neighbors didn't see what I got going on. During the day I sometimes open it a crack to let more air in. Right now the lights have been on for 13 1/2 hours with the door closed the whole time and it's 78* @ 42 % humidity in there. That's 1* better than yesterday. If your worried that I'm not getting enough air flow in there I'm considering cutting holes in the door like I did for the flower room. Or is it that your worried about the low humidity?

OH I got my $1.80 30X 21mm jeweler's loupe today all the way from Hong Kong China. It's actually pretty decent. All metal housing and looks to be well constructed. For a $1.80 it's a steel. You can find them all day long on eBay.

Well time to go back outside. I need to play go fetch with my dog for a while and get him some exercise. I got to keep my boy in shape, he's gonna loose his virginity in about a week or so. I got a female lined up for stud service and I'm getting pick of the litter out of the deal. By mid summer I'll have another female puppy to contend with. My boy is gonna finally have a playmate.:hump:

Im going outside soon, and mowing my lawn.

My Dog is out there right now barking away! telling me to hurry up! Heehee! :)

My Dog gained a few extra lbs over the winter.

He needs to run around!

He likes to be around me 24/7 but he needs to go out and get his exercise too.

Its also a very nice day my direction.

Gonna wash the vehicles, and spiff up the joint.

I somewhat got my 40" Glass Slippers under control this morning.

Had to tie em up, and let em know who's da Boss!! LOL!

They listened, and now there on the down low.. hahahahaa!

Aight Dawg, I better bust a move and get things moving.
