droopy then dying plants

I have been growing the same plant for a few years now and just the last few months more than half my crop has been dying off. the plants seem to droop, like thier not getting enough water, then just die off. the plants that do this the soil seems much wetter, like the roots are not taking in the water. im finding it odd that one will die in the middle of six others that will live on strong. the plant looks fine one day then the next it drroops and dies within like 24 hours. any tips on what this could be and on how to stop it? yes my spelling is wrong and no im not a pro grower

looks like you have a mystery.....come on gang we got a mystery to solve.....to the mystery machine!

i veg my plants then take cutting of them and put then in ezcloner then veg for a month then throw in flower. still having problem i was vegging 30 plants and have loset half

Whatcha feeding? Is this outdoor or indoor? Environment (Co2)? Are you the only gardener in your garden?

if you saying that it is droppy and the soil is wetter i say that are prob not able to breath how long has the soil been damp for i had a similiar case, and also found the water ph was way high.

its an indoor grow. i guess there is a possibility of over watering. ive been doing it for a few years now and have never over watered before. the soil seems damp after a week then plant dies off. just lost two more and its really starting to mess up my cycles, dont want to put in flower room if everything in veg is going to die off

Sounds like you need to change your soil, or wash all your pots and sterilise the ones that have the dying plants in them. If it is only a few of the plants out of your crop then it has to be a localised problem. Or is there a vent coming into the room near these particular plants? Or are the plants that die in random places in your grow? These are some of the questions I would ask myself I think. But it has to be localised to the plant if only the odd one is dying. Or perhaps it's someing in your cloner that needs cleaned. Do you clone from a Mother or just randomly off the last batch? Perhaps one set of your clones has a disease that is being passed on....

anyway, sounds like a tuff one, hope you get it sorted.

I definitely think it's some type of root rot/fungus. There are so many types... I doubt you're overwatering...it's just that the sick roots aren't taking in the water. I agree with DST and your initial instinct...clean everything and start fresh.

Hope this helps

thanks alot for the adivise. i think ur right dst , i need to go through and do a cleaning. i do take cuttings from last batch. i do also reuse my soil so ive been dumping any soil that had a problem plant in them but i think im going to just get rid of all my soil and start fresh with new soil. i think its a soil or cleaning problem, i hate to clean but this is defifintly one area i need to take care of, could b the smoke that aids to the no cleaning, lol . great to see people helping each other out. just posting and reading other post helps put me at ease and makes me think my babies will turn out alright. thanks again for all the support guys
