I donno whats going on here.. im using these ipower 600 watt lights. Most of plants look ok but kinda slow growing. Its been 2 weeks now since i put them into my dwc resovoir. Today i check thise that doesnt seem to grow and seen rotten roots and i dont see any new roots coming out of the basket so i end up cutting off all dead roots and put them back in after i spray a little sm90 on the root and rinse it. Hopefully it will re root soon. I need some expert help here. Its my first dwc and the clones i got wasnt well rooted so i end up putting in red cups for a week or so before i put in the hydro. Even then, the clones werent very well rooted. I cant find any good omstrains so i end up grow GDP.

Also I forgot to mention. I'm using the Advance Nutrients ph perfect sensi grow Part A and B. My ph seem to be high, its at 7.5. I ph it down now but it looks like it might go up.. I ph down when I first mix the nutes but it somehow went up. I thought ph perfect don't need to worry about that. Also water level was quite high so I lowered it to just beneath the cups. I just can't seem to get the ph down even though I have added quite a bit of ph down (diluted).

Looks like nutrient lock out, Dwc hydro needs to be 5.2-6.0 pH, preferably on the lower side for small plants and the upper side for flowering plants. How do your roots look? At 7.5ph your locking out most of every nutrient your plant needs
Basically with a pH that high, it opens the door for root problems, with unhealthy roots it's easy for root rot to take hold and basically suffocates your plant. Also, are you keeping your water Temps below 69 degrees? Many factors here, but I read your roots were dead, I assume you mean mushy and brown? I'd advise starting a new plant, by the time you can get this one healthy, if in fact that's possible, your new plant will be way bigger.

roots rotted so I cut them off and spray some sm90 on it and rinse, put back in bucket and lower ph to about 6.5.. i add quite a bit of diluted ph down but still barely making any difference.

Once there is pythium (what causes root rot) in the system, the whole system will need to be throughly cleaned and disinfected. The water will need to be changed out and you'll need to add something to combat the pythium, if you want to try to save the plant. Beneficial bacteria or products like dm zone work but more as a preventive, once there is root rot and these products are added, it's iffy it it will work. I suggest looking at the heisenburg tea recipe.

just beneath the basket. i used to have the bucket sinked about a quarter inch or half inch. what if i just add sm90 to the Reso? would that help kill the bad bacteria?
another question is: the AN sensi grow part A b B have NPK:3-0-0, 1-2-6.. Isn't that's too low of nitrogen? that's all I'm using besides hydroguard added to the reso already.. I spray leaves with sm90 and when i rinse the roots earlier i spray sm90 on roots and rinse.

I've heard it can, I've heard of people having success with sm90 but I'm not sure of the application rate to add, I've heard it is very potent so it can melt your roots if too much is added, so definitely figure out the proper dose and it won't hurt to try.
