Driver for 3x Vero29 Gen7 type B?

Hey,

Can someone help me with which driver to choose for 3x Vero29 Gen7 type B (1.8A @ 52V)

HLG-320H-C2100 is rated for 76-152V (154V max) and 2.1A
3x COB's wired in series @ 52V each = 156V

Will this overload the driver at 156volts?
I see overload protection @ 160-175V

What will this driver actually run these COB's at?
I am assuming only approx 51.3V each?

If so will the COBs handle being ran at 51.3V?
Will current be limited to approx 1600mA? (at 51.3V?)

3x COBS wired in parallel

This would allow it to run at 1.983Amps max per COB
At this amperage, the COB will pull about 53V each I think?

This seems alot better. Is there any reason to go the 1st route?

I read that some Veros are not within close enough voltage to be ran in parallel?
I think the Gen 7 series fixed this problem correct?

I've made a few 3 cob Vero 29D panels using BXRC-30E10K0-D-73 which is the 37.6v version and Match it with a HLG-240h-C2100B and they work great. You can also step it up to 4x 38v cobs and run it with the 320h-c2100b which is how I make my panels now. 2 panels per 4x4 and getting amazing results!

You should look into the HLG-320H-C1750B (183v max) if you already have the chips and are stuck on running the 320w version with 52v chips. I wouldn't personally run the 52v chip @ 2.1 amps as your going to start losing efficiency.

I have made plans on how to make my 4 cob panels with 4 vero 29D's with 320h-c2100 and have made 20+ of them. Feel free to contact me if you are curious on how I build mine and maybe I can help you out...
